Does anyone have a good Guava and Cream Cheese filling recipe and when using cream cheese as a filling does the cake need to be refridgerated or can I leave it on the counter? I appreciate it!
I have never used them together in a cake but it would be nice to try them. When I use guava I buy the Goya one that comes in a can and then put it in the blender with a tbsp or 2 of water depending on the consistency I am looking for, I also add a little bit of almond extract I think it makes it pop and it turn out really delicious that way and that;s what I used for guava. When I fill my jelly rolls with both falvors I use the regular cream cheese icing.
