Right now I make my own bc icing, which as we know takes a bit of time. Has anyone used the pre-made stuff? Like CK Products butter cream? It says it's crusting... is it any good? Does it arrive as a stiff consistency and you have to thin it to your desired consistency?

Whaddya mean bc takes a bit of time? If you're making the Wilton recipe a batch takes maybe 2 minutes once all the ingredients are measured out.
