Covering Cakes With Pulled Sugar ?

duz any 1 know how to cover a cake with pullked sugar . to get that glass look ?

You pull sugar in wide ribbons and first cover the top then wrap the sides.

Keep in mind sugar doesn't react well with moisture and it will more than likely dull down some and get sticky. Every time I put pulled sugar on a cake at ll this seems to happen. Plus if it covers the entire cake I would imagine it would be difficult to cut.

The cake should be covered in fondant first and the sugar pulled as thin as feasible. My mentor Wynn Grisham covered cakes regularly which were then cut.
