I have a friend who asked me to make a cake in the shape of a security camera, the camera is like this http://www.security2020.net/sc2040-od-outdoor-fake-security-camera.html

I know that the cake will be oblong but am unsure how I can successfully tilt it and wonder if any one out there has ever made a cake like this or has any ideas about how I might be able to do it?

I was thinking of making a ramp out of cardboard which I would then cover and slide underneath the cake, what do you all think?

Any help much appreciated!
