So a girl I teach with and her partner have finally finished the adoption process for their little boy. They received and started loving and taking care of him when he was only 2 days old and now 18 months later the adoption is final.

Anyway we are throwing them a party at school and I am making the cake. The cake will be for about 30 people. He really likes construction and trains and boy stuff like that.

I want to honor the adoption and also make something about him, any ideas?!?!

Most adopted parents like to treat the baby as a regular bio child so the wording would be the same. I would do the set of parents, gumpaste figurines picking out the newborn from a group of cribs on the top tier, then I would place a train set around the larger bottom tier, congrats to them, show us pics with whatever you decide
