I am making a cake for my FIL's birthday, he requested a vanilla cake with fresh strawberry filling. My question is would the princess cake and cookie be a good flavor combo if I use it in my buttercream??? I have never tasted it before, or should I just stick with a plain vanilla buttercream?? (boring) TIA!!
I would describe it as a vanilla/almond/lemon flavor. It's quite nice. I like adding half vanilla to my recipe and half of the emulsion. I think it would be delicious w/ a strawberry filled vanilla cake.
