I have been using the WASC cake recipes for a while now to make small cakes and everyone loves them. I am making a topsy turvy cake soon (my first one) and was wondering if the WASC cakes will hold up well. It will only be two tiers. Can I continue using the WASC cakes for tiered cakes? Do I need to look into pound cakes? Any help would be great from all you experts out there! icon_smile.gif

Thanks in advance!

When it comes to tiered cakes, you don't need a pound cake. It isn't the cake that holds the cake above it up, it is the supports you put in the cake. You could make a tiered 'cake' out of jello with the right supports in it.
