I have not attempted cakelets yet... just seeing them popping up more and checking out photos of them. What prices is everyone fetching for these? Noticed on cupcake envy theirs sell for between $40.00 and $200.00 for 1 cakelet! What range do these typically sell for? Curious how the market is on them and what prices people are getting before I go buy pans and dabble into it.

Thanks for sharing any and all info.

I don't have an answer for this...

Well, considering that a mini cake is generally at least a 3" to 4" diameter, and that serves at least 2-3 people, and they're a massive pain in the butt, and they take way longer than a large cake to do, plus they require more boards, storage space, setup time and room to transport, I won't do them for less than $25 each. And probably more than that if they want them to be decorated "cutely." Generally when I tell people that they reconsider their need for them really fast and end up going with one large cake.
