Look online for "wacky cake"...its a pretty good chocolate cake that is milk and egg free.

For the buttercream you can use the regular Wilton style buttercream using all sweetex (it is lactose free, its pure vegetable/soy shortening) and then some butter flavor and pure vanilla...and a bit of salt to help cut the sweetness...and water instead of milk.

Lactose free cakes:

1. butter - substitute any dairy-free margarines like Nuttelex : shortenings like Crisco, palm oil [solid], or just find recipes that use liquid oil

2. milk - substitute rice-milk, soy-milk, oat-milk, coconut-milk or nut-milk of any description: depending upon the recipe: use coffee, juice of any description, or just plain water ..

Lactose-free does not mean egg-free ..
