I am considering having bakery from home. Do I need to have a food inspection? If I am renting a restaurant's facility that is no longer in use for use of their ovens, do i need an inspection for that as well?

Laws and requirements vary by state. I'd recommend calling your local Health Department or City/Town hall and ask them to guide you to the correct department.
