Do you use mini cupcakes or do you bake a cake and cut circles out of it? Aesthetically I prefer the cut cake circles, but I'm thinking it would be easier just to bake minis and slap them into the container. Curious as to how you guys do them.

I've only made them once, but I cut out circles of cake, using the actual push pop container to cut them so they would be the right size. I have seen them made with mini cupcakes, but I just like the look of the cake fitting the container. I made my cake in a cookie sheet with edges so that it would be thin enough for the cake circles.
