I purchased some Satin Ice Dark Chocolate fondant and I'm not happy with the taste or color (almost black) of it. Has anyone every combined chocolate fondant with regular fondant? I am hoping that would make it more palatable and lighter in color.
Oh heck yeah. That's how I make all shades of brown. Now, but "regular" fondant, I'm assuming you mean something like Satin Ice, not homemade marshmallow fondant, which I have no experience with.
Yes I was talking about Satin Ice---I am a home cake decorator and pretty new to using fondant and wasn't sure it would taste right.Thanks for the help.
