Can I wrap a chocolate cake in white modeling chocolate or do you think that would be TOO sweet?
My friend wanted me to make a scrabble cake for her moms birthday but never came through with the money for supplies (I told her just pay for supplies and ill do it for free). I still want her mom to have a cake and was just going to do my own small round version of a scrabble cake and needs the sides white. The cake will be all chocolate because that's what her moms likes but i need my sides white and smooth to attach little scrabble gum paste pieces. Not sure if I should use modeling chocolate, or just plain fondant.
What do you think?
i cover a lot of my chocolate cakes in white chocolate paste and never had complaints that they are too sweet i always get repeat orders for the same cake over and over lol
