I am going to be delivering 200 cupcakes and a mini cake in about a week and would like to know if it is safe to place the daisies on the cupcakes before delivery if they are in plastic cupcake containers. I have a feeling I should attach the daisies on the cake once it is placed on top of the cupcake tower, but I just want to make sure I'm not walking into a disaster if I place the daisies on the cupcakes and have them all break during delivery (for some reason lol).

Also, should royal icing be enough to attach the gumpaste daisies to the mini cake? TIA!

Gumpaste flowers, closed up in a container with buttercream could wilt or melt some. So personally I'd wait until you you took the cupcakes out of the plastic containers.
