I have a cake in the oven for a friends Christening next weekend . I freeze cakes all the time but always take them out of the tin . My freezer is really packed full . Would it be ok to freeze the cake in its tin to protect it , provided I wrap it really well . Any help would be appreciated
I would flip it out of the tin and wrap plastic wrap around it than put it back into the tin. I have done that before to make sure it doesnt get crushed in the freezer.
