I was just wanted opinions please...
My church is ordaining a new deacon. I'm doing the cake for him (I've known him all my life)... I am doing a cross cake & I thought about putting a few gumpaste dogwood flowers on it... My question..
Do you think dogwood flowers are too feminine for a man? I kinda think they are but then again, dogwood represents Christ & His death. Dogwood flowers are so beautiful! Anyway, opinions would be great! Thanks!

I didn't know dogwood flowers represented Christ's death - I thought that was Easter lillies. Either flower would be beautiful. I made a cake with a gumpaste cross with a gumpaste crown of thorns on it (in my pics) for a guy's birthday party.
