I received a last minute order for a princess sheet cake for a 5 year old. The client wants a 1/2 sheet cake (vanilla with strawberry icing)..but also wants a small cake castle on top of the cake. I've been looking everywhere for ideas, but can't come up with a way to properly proportion a small castle.

Any ideas on where to begin?

Thanks!

The attached photo is a 2-layer 6" cake with towers made from wrapping fondant around paper towel rolls. That might give you some idea of size. (If it helps, it is sitting on a 10" cake board.) I think that would fit well on a 1/2 sheet cake.
