If you have this stand, can you tell me if I used straight PVC pipes can I use it for a cupcake stand? I need a cc stand and thought it would be nice if I could buy this and have a two for one kind of thing. If you think this would work how many cc do you think it would hold?

I do not have this stand but have seen it. It comes with straight and curved poles, so you won't need to buy extra unless you want them longer. The plates are 12", 9", and 7", but you could cut holes in masonite or something to give you a little more display room and secure it to the plates. Cuppies don't weigh much and the base of the Cake Study units is sturdy - I'm sure you could just fill the surface with no worries. Check out the info on Caljava

I spoke with the ladies at my local cake supply and Bronwen actually made them a deal where I can buy the square stand and then the round plates so its like getting two stands in one. I am so excited!
