hi guys

i live in newcastle in the uk and have been asked by the council to do the millenium bridge 10th birthday cake i am struggling with ideas as this will be in the press to they have asked that it has a largey 10 on it and happy birthday and it has to be visable enough for the camera any help would be great thanx xx icon_redface.gif

sorry I too live in the uk (wales) but i wasn't sure which bridge you meant.

So are you thinking of a big 3d cake? of the bridge? If you did a 3d version of the bridge, maybe coming out of a big sheet cake, you could have the big TEN in front of the bridge on the sheet cake and have the happy birthday on the "wire" thats running between the bridge.

yeh thats the one i was thinking of doing the bridge out of pastilage but i have never worked with it before so not to sure i should

If you didn't make it out of pastilage, you could always make a wooden one, it could be easier. icon_smile.gif
