help!! My pine apple up side down top keeps sticking to the pan, I dissolve my brn sugar in pineapple juice to a thin consistency, then put y rings and cherries, what's wrong with my technique?????>
What are you using to grease the pan?
You could try lining with parchment paper.
I put margarine/butter in my pan and put it in the oven to let it melt. Once melted, I add brown sugar until it is moist. My margarine/brown sugar mixture is very thick. I arrange my pineapple slices and cherries on top of the sugar mixture. Then I carefully spoon my cake batter over it all. I've never had a bit of it stick. I also make sure I turn the cake onto my plate fairly soon after it comes out of the oven. I let the cake detached and plop onto my plate but I leave the pan over it until it is about halfway cooled off.
Turns out perfect every time!!
