I am trying to do rice krispy pops! I can not get the chocolate (candy) to melt right? Also can you color it? IF any one can help me out that would be great! Thank Youicon_smile.gif

i use a double boiler to melt the chocolate, you can color it, but be sure you are using color for chocolate

I melt the chocolate first till it's runny,colour it then add the crispies to it then spoon into a mould or onto greaseproof paper.

I melt my chocolate in a double boiler and add shortening a little at a time until it's the consistancy I need. Then add your candy colors. Regular gel colors will cause your chocolate to harden and seize.
