I made a vanilla cake, but now I need an amaretto fruit filling? Does anyone have a recipe recommendations? I saw a amaretto custard filling on this site, do I just add fruit? Should I just layer strawberries or raspberries on top or do I need to do anything to them so they stay yummy and not sour or get mushy? Frozen or fresh? I have not used fresh fruit or done this flavor combo .... Any advice or recommendations would be sooooo much appreciated!!! Thank u!
