Is it possible to color my own standing sugar? Like if i put some in a baggie and add a little food coloring and mix it up very well? Has anyone done this?

You sure can! Coloring gel and white sanding sugar = your own colors! icon_smile.gif

I'll just throw on a pair of gloves and rub the gel color in to the sugar until the sugar until it's uniform. If you just try to shake it the color will clump with some of the sugar.

I never buy colored sanding sugar, just white, that way you can have any color you want on hand essentially.
