Has anyone tried this recipe? I've read the reviews, but no one states if it will hold up okay on cupcakes with a swirl type pipe? If anyone knows, let me know! Thanks guys!

Does this icing hold up well in the heat?

Yes it's fine on cupcakes and cakes. I use it a lot as well and it's great. I have used it with all HR shortening, all butter, and combinations of both. All versions turn out great.

yes it's heat and humidity stable. That's the main reason I switched to it.
