I have a lemon pound cake recipe that I really like. I have been asked to make several of my lemon pound cakes for an event but they wanted me to add a lemon syrup and/or lemon glaze to at least one of the cakes for variety.
I did not see too much in the recipe section but I might have missed something.
Does any one have a tasty recipe they would share?
* 4 cups confectioners' sugar
* 1/3 cup fresh lemon juice
* 1 lemon, zested
* 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 3 tablespoons water
To make the glaze, sift the sugar into a mixing bowl. Add the lemon juice, zest, oil, and water. Mix with a whisk until smooth.

I do appreciate your recipe and I have saved it for my next pound cake that is due in two weeks. I finally just had to "create" a recipe and I think it turned out fine; however, your recipe certainly looks delicious. Can't wait to try it!
