Is Coating Chocolate The Same As Candy Melts?

I just bought the Baking Arts DVD,the wrapped cakes modeling chocolate. in order to make the chocolate modeling paste i need coating chocolate. I tried to look it up on google to see if i could see a brand name that maybe i could recognize or to see if candy melts are the same but could not find. is it bark? any info?

Hi Bakencake,

To make modeling paste, also called candy clay, I often use Wilton's chocolate candy disk. You can get them at Michael's. Do you have a cake supply store in your area? They should also carry them.
