Hello fellow cupcakers!

I am just wondering if anybody has had the same problem as me, where to buy giant cupcake boxes?

I dont want to buy in bulk as I only make 1 - 2 a month, so I would like to buy just a few at a time. I have come across just one website in the UK and delivery price is nearly £6. Does anybody know of any other websites?

Also, I had a very last minute order the other day and was flapping about trying to find a cake box to fit my cake. I eventualy ended up buying 2 12 inch cake boxes sitting the cake in the bottom of one box and sliding the 2 lids stood up under the box and put the other bottom in top. It actually didnt look to bad at all. I also thought of using extenders, has/does anybody use them?

Hi,
I found this website in the uk,
http://www.icing-works.co.uk/ourshop/prod_890978-Giant-Cupcake-Box-with-Window.html
and this thread about cupcakes boxes,

These boxes look to be very expensive though, you're probably paying that amount because its got a fancy viewing window! if you only make 1 or 2 a month how about making the box yourself? or just buying some plain cake boxes like these,

Hope this helps, good luck! icon_smile.gif
