I just received it from Amazon yesterday and I was disappointed that it was so thin.

But the flowers and arrangements in the book are very pretty. Overall I think it's a great idea book.

I was thinking of buying Sylvia's books next. Are they worth the money?

Roland's book is small but covers a number of ideas. I assume you are referring to Sylvia Weinstock. I have Sweet Celebrations and Sensational Cakes. Sweet Celebrations has brief instructions for specific designs and some recipes. Sweet Celebrations is more of a coffee table book with great pictures of amazing cakes and a very few recipes but no details or instructions of any kind.

Thanks for your reply. I do enjoy having picture books. The Martha Stewart one is basically a picture book but I enjoy looking at it for ideas.

I like to collect books to keep the creative juices flowing...and also to feed my book addiction. Ha!
