I am making a baseball themed cake and am considering trying the baseball cap cake made out of fondant. The directions I read say to use three 9" rounds to make it. Once I carve out the design will it be enough cake for 15 adults? Or should I make the hat a second tier of a bigger baseball themed cake? Thanks!
I use the Wilton party sized serving chart as my serving guide, and according to it, a 9" round cake serves 24. So use that to gauge how much you should carve and if a larger sized cake for carving may be safer for you. I hope that helps!
