Jeep "driving" Up A Wedding Cake

I need a little guidance with regards to attaching a jeep (plastic model) to the side of a 4 tier wedding cake. The bride and groom want it to look like the Jeep is "driving up the side of the cake". Any suggestions, help, ideas would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks so much!

I would try to glue gun the tips of a few of skewers to the jeep and then stick the skewers into the cake. You might need to try this on a practice cake first to make sure it would hold, though.
