I see people who do, a friend suggested it to me; but I am now in S. Korea. Idk how baked goods would ship. But I do see ones on etsy who do. Usually in the states. Tell me how it works out. Are you thinking of selling cakes, or cookies? candy? etc. Hope it all turns out well.

At one time, before it became popular, Etsy may have been a good business outlet. But packaging/shipping for baked goods is expensive and "buy local" is the trend. Also, a handful of slick businesses have learned to use it to their advantage by constantly posting new items (which keeps them on view). From what I've heard, most Etsy businesses have little success.

I have an etsy shop and it does pretty well. It's not going to replace my regular income, but I probably make about $250 a month with stuff on there. Things that are small and less-breakable are best to sell on there, since the packaging is what kills your profit margin.
