I have a mermaid cake for a friends daughter and she wanted me to make a shell for the doll to sit in. From the scene of the movie. Does anyone know how to even go about that. I don't have time to order a mold. If they even make one that big. Thanks in advance Nikki. icon_smile.gif

There is actually a large clamshell chocolate mold but as you said there is no way to get ahold of one..Is there a dollar store near you where maybe you could buy a cheap shell and then use it to mold..

Kitchen stores should sell them as well. They're used to serve a dish called coquille st. jacques.
