Oh my goodness twice i have had to use this colour, i always use the renshaw for colours and not had a problem but this blue colour is horrendous, its like elephant skin. Has anybody else found this?
Its as though it dries out so i dont use RI to stop it sticking i found its easier to use trex but it split no matter what ive tried.
2 cakes ive had to seriously repair now, no other colour has done this at all, why this one?
i dont understand RI to stop it sticking, do you mean powdered sugar, i use renshaws blue and havent had a problem sorry i cant be more help and i hope you figure it out good luck
Sorry my cake tutor told us to use icing sugar to stop it sticking, should it not be RI?
I wonder if it was the batch from the shop.
