Hey guys I'm thinking about making some guava cupcakes to test out before I begin to sell them...I was wondering if i could use my basic vanilla cupcake and mix some guava bits into it and the frosting? Would this work or would this make it to dense? I would like it to be nice and fluffy

TIA

How about juicing the guava to use in the cake and frosting. It sounds good.

As for the bits of fruit that is certainly a judgement call. I personally don't like bits of fruit in anything, especially cake. That's just me. There are probably a lot more people that love that. Maybe you could make both and see which one sells better.
