Hey all. I have a buddy doing a financial presentation at my place this weekend and I'd like to make some french vanilla cupcakes filled with strawberry and topped with a buttercream icing that has a cheesecake flavoring. I have lorann cheescake flavoring, jello no bake cheesecake mix, and jello cheesecake pudding mix. Does anyone know which of these would be best in mixing into my buttercream or does anyone know a delicious recipe that I might try? Thanks in advance
Loranne Cheesecake is my FAVORITE! It makes a wonderful flavored buttercream.
Thanks for your input Kristy! About how much do you use in your buttercream? I will probably make a 2 lb batch. Also do you omit the vanilla flavor or butter?
I'd use about a teaspoon of the flavoring for the 2lb (10x sugar) batch. Then add a little more if needed. I do sometimes add a bit more. And I do omit all other flavors.
