I was wondering, has anyone ever rolled the tootsie roll candy with fondant roller to cut circles to make these???? I just thought they might taste yummy icon_smile.gif

No, but I was once at a beach house with nothing on hand to decorate a cake and made roses out of Starbursts ~ came out pretty nice. icon_smile.gif I bet Tootsie rolls would work just great too.

Yes, people do this method with the tootsie roll. Heres a better way than rolling out the tootsie roll and cutting with cutter. I make my roses with modeling chocolate the same way. Of course you can roll out and cut. hth

thanks icer.....I know I can make them by hand but for some reason I always go back to to fondant roller haha,,,I mean with modeling chocolate

....wow starbursts I will have to try this too....did you soften in microwave too
