Has anyone made this flower in gumpaste before? I love this flower and would like to try and recreate it in gumpaste. Where would be the best place to source cutters and veiners for this flower.

Yes, I've made them. Not the easiest orchid I've ever made. Alan Dunn has an orchid book and I just used the pattern from that (although I do have slipper orchid cutters). Worked perfectly. The hard part was making the throat.

I've made this flower at Nck Lodge class. Global sugar art will have the cutters. Nick would have them also. So many other cake suppliers also.

Does anyone know how to use the lady slipper orchid cutters from sunflower sugar art?? The instructions are so confusing...pictures would really help if anyone feels inclined to make some or let me know where I can find some good directions for them icon_smile.gif
