Walmart usually carries gum paste. You can get that and use only that or mix it 50/50 with your fondant.

Good luck,

Use gumpaste or mix it with half gumpaste. They sell ready-to-use gumpaste at walmart.

You can also add a good bit of tylose to your fondant.

Thanks so I found the pre made gum paste at walmart so I just mix it with my fondant and then color after they both have been mixed together? What is tylose? How much do I use?

Thanks ladies for your help!!

Tylose is a powder you can add to fondant to make it more gumpaste like.

When I do a 50/50 fondant and gumpaste mixture, I usually make them separately, then knead them together. i've never tried just adding the powder to the fondant.
