hi all,
so after one cancelled cake (well sort of, cake is still going ahead as it had been paid for but not for whom it was going to be for as it was a gift) i am now trying to come up with a design for the so called new cake!
i am thinking stripes, with 2 large hearts on wire sitting ontop of the cake with some ribbon roses or something aswell (does this go lol!), i think i will cover the wires in fondant and insert them straight into the cake, my question is, if they are going to be large hearts , how far do i put the wire into the cake, will it need to go all the way to the bottom to support the hearts? i am thinking i may need 18g wire to do this? i am not experienced with wire (just in case you cant tell!)
so any advice would be great!
thanks
