My friend got a bunch of Magic Line pans from a caterer going out of business. She left them on her back porch for months, and now I've inherited them. What's the best way to clean them? I think there's some pitting involved (maybe it's something else).

Am I crazy for thinking SOS pads?

Thanks!

Try 'Bar Keepers Friend'. It's a powder cleaner you can get from Walmart. We use it on our high-end pots and pans and won't scratch like SOS pads. I burnt the crap out of one of my pans and that stuff got it looking like new.

Excellent suggestion. Ironically my mom and I were just discussing Bar Keeper's Friend last week.

Bar Keeper's friend is excellent. You could use that and the scrubby side of a sponge, but I would hold off on SOS or steel wool unless desperate.
