I'm making a doll cake. Had to carve some. I am pretty sure I added too much liquid to crumb coat. Now my frosting is totally sliding down the cake! Do I have to scrape it all off and start over? Seems like something always goes wrong with every cake. I thought this one was gonna be easy. What to do???

If you scrape off the runny icing, what you have left is a thin crumb coat.
