the cake I have in the oven right now has flopped. I have no clue what to do. I'm making a 7up pound cake for a pamper chef party so I decided to put it in the cupcake pan that resembles the chef hat. For those who have used it, what do you suggest I do. I have party at 4:30 and a cake that's fell...any help
IMO, one must bake the two pieces separately. The top bakes much faster than the base. Additionally the base is terribly thick, so not the easiest thing to bake in the first place. This is one cake where you probably do need to use a heating core.
