hello All,
so I have never done cake tasting before. what do y'all do for cake tasting? customer wants to try a mocha cake along with three different type of fillings. it's a small cake and I should have said no to cake tasting. but now that I have said yes what should I do?

YOu pick three basic flabors, for example I do vanillam choclate, and whatever 3rd I have on hand, and vanilla SMBC, chocolate ganache, cream cheese frosting. If they want a custom flaavor, like chocolate mocha, their gonna have to pay for a choclate mocha cake. It's al about seeing if the like your cake, not trying every flavor. If they like your vanilla or chocolate, then they are gonna like your chocolcate mocha. Also, get in the habit of doing tastings for minimum servings. You don't want to spend $30 bucks for a tasting when they are going to only order a cake for 20. It's not worth it. I have a minimum of servings been ordered before I do a tasting.
