you can do it out of gumpaste - mold the top part inside a real martini glass and then hand roll/mold the stem and base and attach. Am I making sense?

Ive tried that before but when I get to the bottom of the cup, it crinkles & doesn't come out right & when I say bottom I mean the bottom of the top part of the glass...

I had the same trouble moulding a cup: putting a flat disk inside a curved cup makes the disk wrinkle up and pressing the GP with a thumb to a smooth thin finish against the inside of the cup made it stick, greasing the cup didn't help but lining it with cling film did, once firm enough to hold its shape I lifted it out, peeled off the film and let air dry till totally solid- the few wrinkles left by the cling wrap I filled with a tiny tiny bit of royal icing... hth
