What is going to be the best method to make a wine bottle cake.. its for a outside event.. Should I use rice krispies or cake and fondant.. suggestions or ideas..

If it were me, it depends on the size the wine bottle needs to be. If it is going to be a smaller sized cake, I would make it out of rice crispies or laying down. If it is larger, I would make it out of cake, but I would make the thin/top part of the bottle out of rice crispies. Just be sure to dowel it! Have fun, good luck!
