I have taken the giant leap into the cake business! I didn't realize that the hardest part was delivery. I've delivered stacked cakes before, however those cakes were for family and friends and the tallest was a fully assembled 3 tiered. Since it was for relatives, I wasn't too worried but I had my first real order today. Wow, talk about sweating bullets! It was a 4 tier stacked daisy cake. I used SPS which was great. I also had 2 other smaller cake and cupcake orders to deliver. I was extremely nervous (understatement!) driving with these 3 cakes in the back of my ford explorer. I put a non skid material under the cakes on the SUV carpet along with a small damp paper towel. The cakes made it, yay! Is there anything else you guys do that help with delivery? TIA

Nope. SPS + non-skid is all I do.
