I received an order for an Army rank cake of E7 (if you google it, it will pop-up). I'm not sure how to get straight lines. I am going to shape the cake just like the rank and I was thinking of printing the rank the size of the cake and try to use it as a stencil, using the spray icing. The customer does not want fondant. Help!....

Thanks in advance!
You could do a frozen butter cream transfer. Print out the picture the size you need it, tape it to a cookie sheet, tape wax paper on top, then color in with the icing. After that put it in the freezer until hard and then flip it over on the cake and slowly peel off the wax paper. If you ever do this with words be sure to flip the image before preparing it.

That is genius...I am definitely going to try that. Thank you so much!
