make a square. make a cut starting from each corner and going about 3/4 of the way to the center of the square. take a corner and fold into the center, then repeat with other corners, folding into the center and pressing the ends into the center. you can tuck some cotton balls or paper towel under the pieces to get them to stay up while it dries.
