I'm making Linda McClure's gumpaste recipe which calls for 2-3 tbsp of tylose. Can I substitute gum tragacanth on a 1 for 1 basis? Or do I need to use a different measurement?

Should work. You might need slightly more gum trag but i would start with a 1 for 1 then add more if you think you need it.
