Ok, I make natural soap for a living. At first it was scary, but now after 12+ years I don't worry too much about each batch, even if a new recipe. Is that how it is with cake? It seems like there is SO much to learn, and then so many variables.... does it ever get easier? Can you ever say "oh, you need a cake? I'll just whip one out, no problem"? Or do you always hold your breath on each step?

it gets easier, but it takes time and practice to get it down. ive been doing it for years, and i still get butterflies doing things. and the great thing about baking...you never learn everything, so its always a new challenge when you get to learn something new. i love it!!!!
